Camilla Davila

Former Fellow

Camilla Davila joined the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security as Research Fellow in January 2018, her gender analysis focusing on Northern and Western Africa. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies concentrated in Sustainability Policy. While in school, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy and held internships at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in NY and Toshin Language Academy in Tokyo. In addition to gender rights advocacy, she is interested in migration studies, agroecology, and global public health with a focus on sexual and reproductive health. Born and raised in New York City and Naples, Camilla is fluent in Italian and French and studies Japanese, Korean, and Arabic in her free time.
