Kata Lucas

Women, Peace and Security Analyst

Kata Lucas is a feminist researcher, focusing on topics of gender-sensitive transitional justice and the integration of the WPS agenda in post-conflict settings. She previously worked as a Project Assistant and Fellow for the NGOWG. Kata rejoined the team in April 2018, as the Women, Peace and Security Analyst to support the organization’s research, monitoring, and analysis efforts. She has an M.A. in International Affairs from The New School and a B.A. in Human Rights Studies and Political Science from the University of Dayton. She is also engaged in an advocacy project to improve access to reparation mechanisms for survivors of sexual violence in Bosnia, working with local women’s organizations and diaspora organizations on this topic.
