Rachel Gantz

Intern

Rachel Gantz joined the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security in September 2016 after graduating from Gonzaga University with her BA in Political Science and International Relations. She focuses on the intersection of countering violent extremism and the preservation of human rights and using gender perspectives to study the structural obstacles to sustainable peacebuilding. Rachel plans on using her experience with the Working Group, as well as her previous experience interning with a DC policy firm and research projects in Jordan and Bosnia-Herzegovina, to launch into a career as a human rights lawyer with the United States Air Force.
