Women’s Groups Call on UN to End Violence in Congo

Nine women’s groups and civil society organizations from the Democratic Republic of the Congo are calling for immediate action to prevent further violence in Eastern Congo in a letter to the UN Secretary General, which calls for health services and assistance for victims and survivors, among other provisions.
